First Entry

So I am quite excited for this Spanish adventure. Having been to Europe before I feel that I am somewhat prepared for the experience but having never been to Spain or been in Europe for this long before I am also fairly nervous. I would have to say that I am most nervous about the language and my ability to speak it. I think that I have picked up Spanish pretty well in my first year but I'm not that confident. Not really going to let that bother me I am still looking forward to getting there. Looking forward to meeting my host family and having that experience. I'm sure it will be a bit awkward at first but I'm not worried about it. My family has been a host family for foreign students who studied in the U.S. and I really enjoyed the experience and it seemed like they did as well. So yes Spain will be great and so will this blog. Very excited to get this thing on the way. This is kind of a short one but this whole blog thing is new to me so give me some time and I'll get better at this stuff. Talking about what I'm thinking. Yikes.
